Our Story
The Techies Hangout was birthed from a place of concern and passion for the tech space in Cameroon. It is generally said that the average techy is a nerd with no life whatsoever and in reality, this is often the case in our field. Most end up with severe medical conditions due to negligence and poor habits.
Techies Hangout came as an escape from this reality — a day without PCs, without figuring out a customer's worry — just relaxing, focusing on personal development, and connecting with like minds.
We wanted to hear their stories: how they have been able to transform their ideas into businesses and scale them while having fun and interactive games.
We have had two successful editions and are looking forward to the 3rd edition in July 2026.
